Bikes & Gear - Adventours Kyoto

All our rental touring bikes are equipped with a handlebar bag that can be detached and used as a shoulder bag. They are also fitted with a top tube bag with a transparent insert for a smart phone, a drink bottle cage, a rear fender, a kickstand, a pump, a lock, a spare tube with tools and a seat post bag if necessary.
We have 7 regular hybrid bikes with a range of 27 gears, 4 e-bikes and one carbon Canyon road bike. Our rental e-bikes were carefully selected and are the most suitable available in Japan. Except for the Canyon road bike all of the bikes are brand-new. Please refer to the chart below to select your bike.
Our bikes are covered by liability insurance, which covers damage and injury caused to a third party in the case of an accident, but we strongly recommend that you take out travel insurance that covers your own medical costs and liability. Please bring your passport when you rent one of the bikes.

Giant Escape RX 3 all-round hybrid bikes

We are using brand new Giant Escape RX3 bikes. These bikes are relatively light at 10. 4 kg and have a wide range of 27 gears with a triple chain-ring (48-36-26) up front and a 9-speed rear cassette (11-32). That should be enough to tackle any mountain. SIZE: 46.5 cm（XS），50 cm（S），55 cm（M）
We can also offer a similar Trek FX 7.4 or FX3 bike with an L-size frame (57 cm)
Bike rental fee 1st day: ¥3,500 (bike only), ¥4,000 (including tour route)
From 2nd day: ￥3000. 1 week: 18,000

BeSV JF 1 power- assisted all-round e-bike (S size)

This bike is relatively light for an e-bike at 16 kg and has a 10 speed Shimano Deore group. It is equipped with disc brakes and a bike computer and has a range between 54 and 134 km depending on the assistance mode used.

E-Bike rental 1st day: ¥5,500 (bike only), ¥6,000 (including tour route) 

From 2nd day: ￥5,000. 1 week: ￥28,000
Deposit (refundable): ¥20,000

BeSV JR 1power assisted road e-bike (M size)

This bike is relatively light for an e-bike at 16 kg and has a Shimano 105 group set with a double chain ring up front (50-34) and a 11 speed rear cassette (11-32). It is equipped with hydraulic disc brakes and a bike computer and has a range between 64 and 134 km depending on the assistance mode used.

E-Bike rental 1st day: ¥5,500 (bike only), ¥6,000 (including tour route) 

From 2nd day: ￥5,000. 1 week: ￥28,000

Deposit (refundable): ¥20,000

Yamaha YPJ-EC E-bikes with a range of up to 222km (M size)

This bike has a double chain ring (50-34) up front and a 9 speed rear cassette(11-30). It is also equipped with disc brakes, an integrated bike computer with USB port and front and rear light. There are 5 different levels of assistance with a range between 89 km (high mode) and 222 km(eco plus mode).

E-Bike rental 1st day: ¥5,500 (bike only), ¥6,000 (including tour route) 

From 2nd day: ￥5,000. 1 week: ￥28,000

Deposit (refundable): ¥20,000

Trek Dual Sport power assisted all-round e-bike (L size)

This e-bike has a 10 speed Shimano Deore group set with an 11-42 rear cassette. It is equipped with hydraulic disc brakes, a bike computer and has a range of up to 150 km depending on the assistance mode used.

E-Bike rental 1st day: ¥5,500 (bike only), ¥6,000 (including tour route) 

From 2nd day: ￥5,000. 1 week: ￥28,000

Deposit (refundable): ¥20,000

Carbon Canyon road bike (M size)

We have one Canyon road bike (8kg) with triple Ultegra group set. The frame size is 54 cm. The bike has a triple chain ring up front and a 10 speed rear cassette (11-32).

E-Bike rental fee per day: ¥ 4,000 (bike only), ¥4,500 (including tour route)

From 2nd day: ￥3,500. 1 week: ￥20,000
